OSTEO NORFOLK

Thank you for visiting Osteo Norfolk!

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on manual therapy and structural science that works with the mechanical relationships between all tissues of the body, collectively. We work to normalize these relationships so that the body can self-heal and self-regulate through the appropriate distribution of nerves, arteries, veins, and lymphatics.

What can I expect from osteopathic treatment?

Treatment involves assessment of body structures from head to toe in order to determine the mechanical patterns leading to dysfunction. We work to correct abnormal mechanical patterns through gentle but precise adjustment so that the body can self-heal and self-regulate as it is designed.

What can osteopathic treatment help with?

An osteopathic thought process allows us to determine the root cause of a patient’s concern, facilitate health throughout the body as a whole, and help with a broad spectrum of health issues, including aches, pain, injuries, headaches, migraines, numbness and tingling in extremities, and much more.

How do I get started with osteopathic treatment?

You can begin by booking an Initial Osteopathic Treatment below! These treatments are 30 minutes and including a review of your health history. Please wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing as motion assessment is pivotal in osteopathic treatment. Subsequent treatments are scheduled for 20 minutes, but may require less time depending on the needs of each individual.

Logan began his education with 2 years of study at Brock University in Medical Sciences before transitioning into the Manual Osteopathy program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO). He knew this was the path meant for him after observing the profound impacts of Osteopathic Treatment on close family and friends. At the CAO, 4 years of training allowed him to obtain a Master Diploma of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M. OMSc). He now passionately serves Norfolk County and surrounding areas as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, and continues to be involved with the CAO faculty as part of the Intern program.

In his past time, Logan enjoys spending time with his wife and their 3 dogs, riding horses, playing golf, and enjoying the outdoors.
